dinner for realz

yeah cookies.

last night was the inaugural bbq at the real world house and i have to say, if this is a foreshadowing of things to come, we at c.u. are already looking to buy some elastic waist pants. burgers and grilled peppers and asparagus, cookies and ice cream. and thats not even to mention the chocolate bars, potato chips, and champagne that were the appetizers. good lord. i think im still full. the house is still in a bit of disarray but it looks like things are starting to come together. i stopped in the living room to visit our old tv from paulina. sniff sniff….

and then there was the inevitable discussion of the summer league tournament tomorrow (and by discussion i mean trash talking). i feel like we should be taking bets on the c.u. site but im not even sure if thats legal so im just gonna throw this out there instead. joe little and some other peeps on gary’s team came back to the house to eat and they were discussing the possible names for the team. chicago 7….? really? i feel like we could do better (although im not sure) so im just gonna put it up for discussion.

also dont forget tonight - meet us in the club…its goin down. actually its not so much a club as the continental on chicago and california for those of you with short memories. we have received no word as to the timing of this event so for now im gonna say 530 til who knows when and if someone wants to post a comment and correct me thats fine. otherwise see you after work. shake and bake.

    summer league prediction:
    i bet that i regret the amount of drinking that i am going to do tonight on about the third point tomorrow and that my dad heckles me at least once (the entire broering clan will be out tomorrow).

    what with various personnel losses for the tourney and the fact that i cant root for a team with dr. rich on it -
    assassins v 31 flavors for title

    i second baker as mvp and want to see the much discussed strip tease from him if we win.

    i predict if assassins knock us off in the first round im not driving home. thats more of a promise than a prediction but whatevs.
