casual ultimate » the blog must go on

well after such a tumultuous saturday it seemed like we would never recover but as always… the casual continues. with ms. utlimate in the dirty south for a few days, i will attempt to hold it down in the chi. we didnt even mention our friday night which was lovely. c(b)r and i took slider for a long walk through lincoln park and ate expensive life changing chocolate at vosges and then met up with ms. ulty and tbr for mexican food.

chucktown called and i swear i talked to him for one minute and when i turned back around tbr was throwing lit tortilla chips at poor confused slider and ms. ulty had agreed that we would sleep over in jbr’s basement rec room and make cupcakes and watch anchorman. not only that but she somehow agreed that shed wear the br’s clothes to fall league the next day. i cant leave her alone for a minute. i have a picture of her wearing tonys shorts over her pants but its on my camera which is still at RWIP along with my self esteem and possibly my i-pod. (bk, you wanna get dinner tonight so i can grab my camera?)

last night we celebrated akira’s return to the working world at rodan. after talking to dave about how bad pepe worked us last saturday at fall league we recounted more party stories, of which there are many, and discussed the new site for c.u. we need to get ea on board since hes obvioulsy in charge of our new marketing department. you wouldnt believe how high i jumped (and in heels) when i saw his shirt… screaming like a little girl. another big thanks to our rogue guest posters from saturday night. i was impressed with how well the post came together under the circumstances and even more surprised that it wasn’t all that offensive or incriminating.
