wednesday is the new thursday
last night the ladies of casual ultimate went to maproom to expand our minds and drink some hefeweissen. the topic of cafe scientifique (or ’science cafe’ if you need a translation from the french) was climate change so naturally we had to make an appearance and assert ms ultimate’s obvious intellectual superiority over the presenter. here at left is an actualy picture of science. bet ya didnt know…
miss casual gave an exclusive interview to the tribune at the event but probably got edited from the story becuase she was giving her attention to the georgia tech / duke game rather than the issues at hand. it was fun drinking some good beer but going out on wednesday is confusing because i think today is friday but its not. wednesday is the new thursday. which makes friday the new monday according to the mind blowing logic of a guy at the bar last night. no wonder we wanted to go to lemmings so badly. we had our days confused.
anyway the debate in the forum over bikes and gears and wheel sets (oh my) is heating up so check it out. tbr (bless his heart) is bringing his a-game. makes for an interesting thursday…or is it friday… whatevs.

ms. u, what do you know about getting my house outfitted with solar panels? how do i do it?
January 11th, 2007 at 3:28 pm
this isnt solar panels but heres a page about paying a little more for your electric service and getting it from a renewable energy source.
green power
i would search for LEED for homes builders maybe or just google for solar panels unless ms. ulty has a good source.

who is the resident oompa-loompa? who do i email you

its akira

while i like the idea of being an authority, it is not so in this case so go with akira. i do know, however, that PG&E will screw you over in terms of the rate they’ll pay for your electricity. but you should do it anyways because it’s cool. separately, if you do get a fixie and i go to berkeley, we can find flat stretches of road and play this fall.
