snow makes me sad
well this was one of the less blog worthy weekends in memory. the cold weather and lack of biking is really starting to send yours truly into winter hibernation mode. as soon as the sun goes down, which is at approximately 3:30 you can find me on the couch watching arrested development. thats pretty much my saturday night in a nut shell although at least ms. ulty braved the cold to see aaron and treem and celebrate aaron’s new job. there was some mexican food friday night and a bit of shopping saturday but other than that the only thing worth mentioning is seeing volver last night. great movie. i was not a big fan of penelope cruz in general but now i am. we are going to hold regular seminars in ms. ulty’s living room to try and get her perfectly messy, half up, half down hair thing happening.
also since its almost time for the oscars and weve been attending the cinema regularly of late, check out the scorecard movie awards brought to you by our good friend the letter j. better than your average awards show since you have a say in the out come. well i don’t know about the kids listening to the dxchx but the moms are, called my sister last night knowing she’s a HUGE dxchx fan and well, she was in tears.
As part of my NY resolution to bring la viva bueno to Oakland i drove up to Sac-town and picked up 5 schwinns that brings the bike total to 8, so rest assured they’ll be 2 pedals awaiting you when you visit sunny SEE-AYY, along with a commemorative t-shirt.

volver was fantastic. you should see that movie. and miss casual, i think we need to invest in some heavy-duty hairpins. i can’t wait for The Lives of Others to come to the Landmark on Friday; it looks really good.
