My knees have been hurting since Monday morning, but now it's mostly my right knew (which I think is weird since I pivot on my left). I played spring league on Saturday and then biked pretty hard on the track on Sunday. It's a sharp pain - any ideas on what it could be or, more importantly, what I can do about it?
kneecap area, in front. it hurts mostly when i put a lot of pressure on it (like, walking up stairs while carrying heavy stuff, slowing my pedals to stop on my bike). i iced it yesterday and today and that's helped a bit. or at least it's been a placebo.
treatment for most things are very similar. be good to it, don't do things that hurt, ice, anti-noninflammatories. wait for things to cool out and maybe some strengthening. see how it responds. etc.
I was told last week that it could be because my bike seat's a little low. This sounds right, because on the track it felt a little low, and that's when it started hurting. It's all better now. I'm gonna go to the hardware store and get me some tools so I can fix my seat. How can I have a set of 12 hex wrenches, none of which are big enough to unscrew my seat?
if you were at beach you already know but last night i hurt my foot. last night it felt lower on the inside of my foot, below the ankle. it was sharp pain early on but later it wasnt as bad. but i would get a sharp pain here and there but more run-able. last night it looked a little swollen and i iced it. this morning when i first got up it hurt to put weight on it but now its not terrible. it feels like its more like the ankle though today and im still limping a little. (im sure you wouldnt notice if you saw me walk but it feels weird.)
so i guess my question is... what do i do? if it feels crappy tomorrow AM but then better when i walk a bit (like today) can i play on it? is ice and ibuprofen all i can really do?
