im out for tonight. im trying to not play on my ankle for a whole week and see if it goes back to normal. although its tough to pass up beach when its this nice out
based on the tree outside my office window getting absolutely shredded by the wind, i was expecting no less than 6 foot waves on the lake. but.. it was calm. really. more so than any regular day. kind of a let down. alas, evanston was in no danger.
i'll be there. i wouldn't want my poor attendance at thursday beach to indicate that i'd like to be kicked off my sandblast team without consultation - oh wait, too late.
yeah, beach, today. it is hot and windy as a mofo out there. i'm wearing my sand-repellant goggles. what, you didn't get yours in the promo bag at sandblast last year?
its north ave beach right at the bridge over lsd. not super easy to get to by train. maybe red line to north and clybourn and then the bus? i usually bike.
typically it goes til it gets too dark to play anymore but txt claire and see if were still there when you get done. it might be a hurricane and well be drinking someplace...
