With all the bike chat that happens here, I thought someone might have some suggestions for a place to buy a nice used road bike. I'm looking for a 57-58cm. Joe suggested craigslist/ebay, so I'll keep my eyes out on those, but I wondered if there any used bike shops in town, or perhaps someone is even selling a ride. Would love to get it done for $700 including pedals. Any suggestions?
Hey Josh. All the bikes I have ever bought have been off craigslist or ebay. both bianchis off of Cl and the new cross bike off of ebay. I waited for a looong time for each of them though. I think if you just stalk those places youll find stuff.
However I think boulevard sometimes has used stuff (although not a lot) and if you want to sign up for chifg.com lots of people post for sale stuff there. I will keep an eye out for you if you dont want to bother with the whole thing though...
